Owls cannot move their eyeballs, in fact they don’t have eyeballs at all. Their eyes are shaped more like tubes. Due to Owls being nocturnal their night vision is among the best of any animal; humans have retinal cones that are not very good at seeing in the dark. But Owls have Retinal Rods which are much more sensitive to darker environment, making them the perfect night predator.
